Programme Outcomes/Course Learning Outcomes

Engineering Knowledge A sound working knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to the solution of complex mechanical engineering problems.
Problem Analysis Ability to identify, formulate, research literature and analyze complex engineering problems using first principles of mechanical engineering knowledge.
Design/Development of Solutions – Ability to apply systematic approach to complex engineering problems solution, design and performance evaluation that meet specified requirements with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, culture, society and environment.
Investigation – Ability to conduct research and investigation into complex problems using engineering research methods for knowledge discovery.
Modern Tool Usage – Ability to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools to complex engineering activities, with an awareness of the assumptions and limitations.
The Engineer and Society – Ability to apply appropriate reasoning to assess contemporary societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues as well as the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice.
