Dr. Rama Abirami received her Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2018. She completed her Master of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, India, in 2011 and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2009. She is currently working as a Lecturer with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Curtin University, Malaysia. She is also a Visiting Post-Doctoral Researcher (Cyber Security), University of Western Santa Catarina (A Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina – UNOESC), Brazil, South America. She has over 12 years of teaching experience and her research area in the field of Network Security, Cyber Security and Machine learning. She is a member of IEEE, ISTE and IAENG. She has five patent publications and one patent grant. She has published one book under the title “The Spirit of C Programming”. She has published several research papers in refereed journals and conferences. She is an active reviewer in various Springer and Elsevier journals.
