Background
Dr Wong joined Curtin University, Malaysia in 2014. He worked as a design engineer in a civil consultancy firm specialise in road and bridge construction before he became a lecturer at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He involved in soft ground improvement, retaining structures, slope stability as well as pile foundation for bridge construction. He also involved in the design and construction of superstructure of bridges.
Currently, he is the coordinator for Curtin Highway Infrastructure Research Innovation (CHIRI) hub. CHIRI working closely with industry in term of research, testing and consultancy.
