Background

Dr. Tay obtained her Ph.D. (Plant Ecophysiology) from Japan Nara Women’s University, Master of Science (Environmental Chemistry) and Bachelor of Science (Environment) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is currently a lecturer under the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering at Curtin University, Malaysia Campus. She is a committee of Engineering Accreditation, Industrial Advisory Panel, Industrial and External Relations in the faculty of Engineering and Science. Before joining Curtin, she was actively working on environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) of government and company projects in the aspects of infrastructure, agriculture, residential and commercial development, aquaculture, sand dredging, and industries. She is a member (MEI) of Energy Institute and Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (HEA).
