Research Clusters
In 2020, the faculty has developed three focus areas in research namely Future energy, Bioprocessing and Intelligent and sustainable technologies. Researchers work collaboratively across different clusters to generate innovative ideas align to these focus areas. Apart from strengthening our research focus areas, we also support the growth of four emerging areas such as materials for future, Smart agri- and aquaculture, Bio-pharmaceutical and natural active ingredients as well as data science. Our R&D activities include promoting applied and basic research, coordinating industrial site visits, refining and cultivating research skills through workshops, webinars and trainings as well as promoting faculty to submit research proposals for different funding agencies.
