Curtin Mechanical Graduate Clinches the IEM Gold Medal Award

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Curtin University Sarawak has achieved another milestone as one of its students, Mr. Lai Jia Jiun on being awarded the prestigious IEM Gold Medal Award 2012.  The IEM Gold Medal is awarded to the best final year engineering student in each of the local institution of higher learning.

Mr. Lai will be receiving his award at the IEM 54^th Annual Dinner and Awards Night of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, on 20^th April 2013 at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.  Congratulations to Mr. Lai on being awarded the IEM Gold Medal for year 2012.

The Institution of Engineers Malaysia is a recognized body for professional engineers and also a professional learned society serving more than 16,000 members in Malaysia, overseas, and the communities in which they work.
