Electronic Exhibition 2011

Event Details:
Electronic Exhibition, organized by IEEE (Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Curtin Sarawak Student Branch) from the School of Engineering, Curtin University Sarawak Malaysia will be held on the 23rd of September at the LT Foyer (outside the lecture theatre) in Curtin University, Miri, Sarawak. All the students are welcome to participate this electronic exhibition from where all the students can take pleasure by looking at the projects done by the future engineers of Curtin University. The students who will take part in the electronic exhibition will have the opportunity to show their potential talent and ideas that might add a new dimension to the world of science in near future.

There will be around 15 projects to scintillate the taste buds of all the aspiring students who are eager to know more about science and electronic stuff. As it is open for everyone, so a large number of students from different faculties can come and get to know more about the electronic arts and their dominance in our daily life.

As for the event plan, there will be two entrances for a smooth flow from the visitors. One will be the main entrance and the other will be the side entrance. In the middle, there will be spaces for two projects which will be demonstrated on the floor and the others will be on the café tables.  The tables will be attached so that the projects can be well placed. There will be around 13 booths. A small resting area will be there for the guests. To explain and operate the projects the tour guides will always be there for the visitors. The tours will always start with clockwise direction and there would be around 3 to 5 person in each tour which will last for about 5 minutes.

Objectives of the Event:

  • To encourage more students in Electrical Department
  • A pathway for the students to experience something which is not available in their study materials or in books.
  • Student’s latent talent to get exposed and to share their experience with others.
