Background

Dr. Mahmood Bataee joined Department of Petroleum Engineering of Curtin University, Malaysia in 2020. He started his journey in Petroleum Engineering field on 2003 and received his bachelor degree in 2007 from Petroleum University of Technology (PUT), Iran. He received his master degree in Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology (PUT) in 2010. He worked offshore as Petroleum Engineer in Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) from 2010 to 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Technologi Petronas (UTP) Malaysia in 2016 and worked there for a year as research scientist. He worked as lecturer from 2017 to 2020 in Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia.
