Background

Dr. Siti Nor Hidayah Arifin is currently working as a Lecturer at Curtin University Malaysia since 2025. She obtained her PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in 2022 and completed her Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours from the same university in 2016. Her research focuses on water treatment, environmental sustainability, green technology, photocatalysis, and the use of advanced oxidation processes. She is also interested in geo-environmental topics such as soft soil improvement, waste material reuse, and groundwater pollution control. Dr. Hidayah is a registered Graduate Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) since 2022 and a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) since 2019. She continues to actively contribute to research and teaching in the field of civil and environmental engineering.
