 Shell Eco-marathon Competition 2013 – Curtin University Internal Selection

Shell Eco-marathon 2013 is expected to be organised in July 2013 at the Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Our Curtin Eco-Racing Team (CERT) from Mechanical Engineering Department, Curtin University Sarawak Malaysia ranked 14 out of 40 teams under the ‘Urban Concept’ category in 2012. Next year, we will continue to participate in the competition and strive for better results.

Mechanical Engineering students are invited to submit their proposal for the Shell Eco-marathon Competition 2013. We are looking for proposals on both “Urban Concept” and “Prototype” categories. For both categories, it is planned that the existing cars which were used in 2011 and 2012, will be reengineered for the competition in 2013.

Your proposal should:-

• Clearly outline the modifications and improvements of the existing cars.
• Meet the requirement of the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia Official Rules 2012 as in http://ecomarathon.shell.com/registration/index/rules

Each team is restricted to only eight members and two standby members.
