Curtin University American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Session American Chemical Society (ACS) is the world’s largest educational and scientific society founded in 1876 and chartered by the U.S. congress. The student chapter of ACS in Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia was set up in 2016. Our mission is to advocate for chemistry by supporting science education and innovation as well as nurturing future chemists by stimulating young minds to achieve excellence in chemistry. Curtin IMechE Student Chapter Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is an independent professional association and learning society based in London, United Kingdom. IMechE represent mechanical engineers and the wider engineering profession also.
IMechE Curtin Malaysia Student Chapter as one of the IMechE’s student chapter. We strive to improve the Curtin community and the wider Miri province through engineering by developing well rounded engineers, promoting engineering, informing opinions and, encourage innovations. Curtin Malaysia IChemE Student Chapter The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is a global hub for chemical engineering, biochemical and process engineering professionals. The objectives of the student chapter is to cultivate the Curtin Graduate amongst Chemical Engineering students, enhancing students with their own soft skills, strengthening relationship between members and develop their social networking skills, and creating the opportunity for students to get hands-on experience before stepping into the industry.
