Industrial Site Visit to Penang Industry

(1st Tuition Free Week in Semester 2)
 
ECE department and IEEE-EMB society student branch are organizing the first ever national wide field trip to Penang. Those industries to be visited are as below:

Don’t limit yourself with knowledge in a classroom. Do come to join us to broaden your social network and widen your view towards new technology.
 
Please register yourself now by filling the following information before 30th of June, 2013. First come first basis will be served for this “learning while travelling” trip. A pre-departure briefing will be given in the first week of Semester 2. Early flight reservation is strongly encouraged for cheap air fare.

Rules                                                                                                    
1. Gather at the Penang Island on 2nd of September. You may choose to fly to Penang by yourself before 2nd of September. The gathering place in Penang will be announced when the date comes closer. 
                               
2. Return from Penang to Miri on 5th of September. You may request to prolong the stay in Penang or Kuala Lumpur by submitting a permission letter of your parents or guardians.
 
3. All international students are required to bring Passport with you during the visit
 
4. Malaysian students are optional to bring Passport or Original copy of IC during the visit. 
                                                                                                               
5. Please wear proper attire during the visit such as T-shirt, long pant and sport shoe. Slippers and short pants are strictly not allowed to join the site visit.

7.  Accommodation in Penang Island will be announced later. You are strongly to stay in the same accommodation with Curtin staff; so that we could have better arrangement on the ground transportation. Ground transportation from other accommodation to the site visit will be responsible by your own. 
 
8. Ground transportation to site visit will be provided by ECE department. Flight, Food and other activities expenses will be self-responsible.
