Field Trip to Wehaya Sdn Bhd – An Oil and Gas Machinery Manufacturer in Pujut area.
Posted date:The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and IEEE society will organize a half-day trip to the Wehaya Sdn Bhd – The Oil and Gas Machinery Manufacturer in Pujut area.
The schedule is as below:
Date: 21st of Sept, 2012 (Friday)
Time: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Assembly Point: Campus bus stop (next to the Bookshop/ GK supermarket)
Have you ever seen a transformer as big as a human size? Do you know how does a motor’s stator and rotor look like? Have you ever seen a huge turbine before? No worry, this is the learning opportunity to widen your practical knowledge by visiting to Wehaya company – the oil and gas machinery manufacturer. Seats are limited, therefore we will work on a first come first basis (Second and third year ECE students are strongly encouraged to join this event). If you have classes which clash with this visit, please consult your unit lecturer to discuss the possibility of you joining the visit.

Please read through the following notes for better understanding before filling up the registration form:
1. Depart from Curtin Miri Campus bus stop near Curtin Bookshop at 8:00 am to Wehaya company.
2. Depart from Wehaya company at 12:00 pm back to Curtin Miri Campus
3. Please have a proper wear during the visit. Slippers and short pants are not allowed for the visit.
4. Please be disciplined and follow instructor’s commands during the visit.
