Dr. Nurul is a Lecturer at the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Science, Curtin University Malaysia. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons) Civil Eng. and M.Sc. (Eng.) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Ph.D. from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research interests include Sustainable Construction Materials, High Performance Concrete, Glass Concrete, Concrete Durability, Energy Efficiency and Construction Management. Some of her research output was published in high ranked impact factor journals. Her expertise in concrete technology makes her be frequently invited to review journal articles for Q1 ISI journal Construction and Building Materials. She also a registered member of Lembaga Jurutera Malaysia (BEM) and American Concrete Institute (ACI).
