Terms of Reference

  • To develop and maintain the School’s Teaching and Learning Strategy related to taught programmes at Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level
  • To enhance the quality of teaching
  • To advise the Dean on facilities required to promote a high quality learning environment
  • To review relevant aspects of the School Operational Plan
  • To review and advise on potential new programmes of study
  • To receive reports from the following Committees and Working Groups and propose actions as appropriate:
  1. Student Staff Consultative Committee
  2. Health and Safety Committee
  3. External Relations Committee
  4. Accreditation and Audit Working Group
  5. New Programmes Working Group
  6. Website and Marketing Group
  • To promote and develop Alumni relations for the enhancement of student learning and collection of data on alumni achievement

 

Frequency of meetings

The Committee meets 4 times per year.
