    2. Identification of applications problems and recommendation of technical resolutions.
  • Research Assistance, 1998 – 2001: Research assistance at the Libyan Petroleum Institute (LPI), Tripoli, Libya. Involve in the department of crude oil evaluation, petroleum processing & engineering, where the responsibilities are:
    1. Crude oil evaluation (fractional distillation)
    2. Crude oil analysis (specific gravity, API gravity, pour point, flash point, water & salt content, asphaltene content, wax melting point, sulphur content, kinematic viscosity, asphaltene content,.……etc.)
    3. Petroleum processing & treatment (crude evaluation studies for lubricating oils or asphalt production, catalyst evaluation and characterisation, transportation problems in petroleum and petroleum products, optimisation of yields, ………etc.), and
    4. Modeling simulation, optimization, and Profitability analysis of process units (profitability analysis, sensitivity and risk analysis, steady state and dynamic process simulation, monitoring operation performance of process units, ………etc.)
