Background

Dr. Mubarak Mujawar is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Curtin University, Sarawak Campus. He received the Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with academic distinction (first class honours) from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology (VTU University, India). Upon graduation he worked as a process engineer at Ganesh Benzoplast Ltd india, Tarapur, Bombay. He then joined International Islamic University Malaysia as research and teaching assistant and further obtained his Master Degree (Biochemical Engineering) specialized in Nanotechnology, also from the same university in 2010. Right after finished his Master Degree, he worked at UCSI University as a Lecturer. Along working as an Assistant Professor at UCSI University, he then pursued his postgraduate studies at University Malaya in 2012 and achieved his PhD Degree (Chemical Engineering) specialized in Nanotechnology in 2015. He has produced many papers, chapters and conference proceedings published in national and international journals. He received many Gold & Silver medals for his innovations. To date, he has obtained four Malaysian patent for his inventions and innovations.
